Violencia, juventud vasca y medios de comunicación social
Abstract
The violence of Basque youth is a common place, a frequent informative element in the Spanish press. To a great extent one is a stereotype interested, created by the politicians and social mass media. This violence does not have point of comparison with situations of the surroundings and problems of harder meaning: the mistreat of women, the drug addiction, the marginal youth of the Spanish cities, the deaths by traffic accidents or African immigration through the Straits of Gibraltar.
