Abstract
This research analyses the content of sixty-two opinion articles (columns) from Juan José Millás, published at the Spanish journal “El País” along one year (2000 –2001). J.J. Millás is a recognized columnist awarded with several prizes and really successful in terms of readers. He has provided a remarkable impulse based on an inductive imagination, which appeals the most common daily events. With this work, her author tries to establish that all analysis of content must be subordinated to a rethorical analysis as the only way to access the thoughts, character, ideology and persuasive and communicative intentions of the writer.Downloads
