Abstract

In last years the scientific journalism has acquired a great importance in the professional world and in the academic sphere. In less than one decade has gone of a relative situation of the indifference to become in a perspective of great interest for scientists and journalists. Both groups frequently meet in different forums and debates to engage in a dialog about the complex processes of the divulgation of science and about the paper that play the mass media and the scientific media. This article provokes some interesting questions about the distribution of roles, sometimes confused. The scientific information and the scientific divulgation are two different functions apparently, but when both are used the mass media merge and they are complemented in a same activity. And it can cause some confusion that can be solved by the theoretical basis of the specialized journalism.
