Historical review of the Spanish press to the present: The 'Mongolia' magazine and its audiovisual satirical leap to La Sexta and Flooxer
Abstract
The satirical press has evolved together with society to the present day and it can be seen in journals like Mongolia which follow the story of El Papus or Hermano Lobo. The objective of this research has been the relation of the history of the satirical press to the Mongolia journalistic project whose translation has been studied in the audiovisual world, in order to know the transmedia adaption responses to the communicative culture. This research has been carried out from a novel approach. The history of the press has been revised throughout exponential projects and to know the content of Mongolia, has been made a content analysis of their spaces in Informe Mongolia, La Sexta, and Mongolia te lo explica, Flooxer, along with an interview with his co-founder. As a result, it is verified that the visual leap increases loyalty, allows a double exposure of the contents and contributes to the economic and media diversification of the project.
