Abstract

The extension of the Internet in society has acted as a great revulsive for the associative memorial movement. The use of social networks and Web 2.0 formats such as web pages or blogs is the most widely used among the collective. However, some associations have opted for the production of digital magazines and newsletters as more direct and profound means. In this framework, the objective we propose is to analyse these communicative products in order to verify what content they transmit, how they structure them and what are the functions they fulfil in the memorial media ecosystem. The collection Bulletins of the History and the Memory of the HISMEDI database, integrated by twenty-four registers, has been the selected sample as an object of study (http://evi.linhd.uned.es/projects/hismedi/om/). Hyperlinking and the ability to interact with users configure unique information and a distribution online of news about the present of memory.
