Abstract

The main objective of this research is to check the preferences and patterns of user behavior on the websites of Spanish political parties. In order to carry out this work, in-depth interviews were conducted with those responsible for the content of the websites of the political formations with parliamentary representation and surveys of the users of those pages. The results obtained confirm the frequency of access and interaction in these websites has been transferred to social networks, more immediate and with greater impact. The web is considered as more detailed information support, while social networks act as channels to disseminate that content. The conclusions allow us to affirm that the integration of the website with social networks is perceived as a priority and that the broadcasting of live videos with access from the website is an opportunity to gain visibility.
