The mark of the file management policies on the educational dimension of the media. Comparative study of the leading radio stations in Spain and Portugal
Abstract
The current mass media communication assumes the immediacy at the expense of contextualization and this fact, in the long run, puts at risk the informative memory of the citizens and therefore, a part of the mass media formative function too. In this context, a content management policy can play an important role as an activity linked with the production and organizational strategy of the company and, furthermore, as a collaborator of the collections and specific productions with an educational aim. The objective of this paper is to make a description and categorization of the content management policies of two private radios from Portugal and Spain to analyze later the work that these policies play in relation with their formative function. Even with when structure and organizational differences between two analysed cases, they are not being exploiting the content management benefits and does not exist a regulation applicable to their educational function to attain standardize practices.Downloads
