Peace and violence communication. Limits and challenges in the development of a peaceful conflict resolution informative model
Abstract
This article analyses the limits and challenges faced by the journalists when they report about paths of management and solving conflicts in a non-violent way. In order to do this, the research explores the epistemological foundation of the violence and peace social construction, as well as the narratives and discourses that serve to justify each of them. The study highlights the need for a change in the standards and paradigms that have usually governed these criteria in the journalistic profession in order to achieve a more operational conflict communication model in the near future.Downloads
