The studies of issuers in Cuba: looking at investigations that tribute to the discipline Communication and Society (2004-2010)

Abstract

What have been the main contributions to the line of studies of emitters in the Faculty of Communication of the University of Havana, based on the research that have been subject to the discipline Communication and Society in the period between 2004-2010? What general aspects have characterized this empirical practice in Cuba? These are the questions to which the present work aims to respond. For this, a theoretical-conceptual proximity was first made and then an assessment of the multidisciplinary character that has characterized this research modality in the country, which will support the reflections contained in the results. It was necessary to consult authors such as: Lewin, (1947), Wolf (2005) and (Torres, G, 2010). Also, normative documents of the XIII Edition of the master's degree in Sciences of the Communication of said center were revised.
