Past, present and future of the dating show in Spain: a panorama of the subgenre of reality TV
Abstract
This article focuses on the typographic study of dating shows, with special attention to those issued in Spain, to categorize the different sub-formats that have been derived from it and establish past and present typologies and future trends. The main objective is to propose a historical approximation around the evolution of the dating show in Spain and to explain what has happened, what happens now and what is yet to come in the context of dating shows, the programmes emitted in the last years, its characteristics and its connections with reality TV.Downloads
