Religion, woman and communication. The case of "donne chiesa mondo"
Abstract
This paper makes a historical and journalistic tour of donne chiesa mondo, the feminine supplement published monthly since May 2012 by L'Osservatore Romano, the newspaper of Vatican City. It is an initiative born within the Catholic Church, with the aim of showing the role of women in the Church, but with a global dimension and trying to reach beyond Catholicism. The conclusions demonstrate that it is a pioneer project due to its characteristics and the different topics treated, with wider circulation in the last years and, especially, a new design that has caused a great influence in the Vatican newspaper.Downloads
