Training Journalists in the University. UNESCO Model Adaptation to New Trends
Abstract
The aim of this paper is to initiate the adaptation the curriculum of journalism studies to the recommendations proposed by UNESCO during the first World Congress on Journalism Education (UNESCO, 2007). This has been the adopted model in the recent important reforms done in the world, especially in Europe. A compilation of strategies and ideas are summarized for showing an effective way to those universities which need to improve their offer of communication studies. From the three general lines proposed by UNESCO, road maps are proposed for each university which objective is to initiate a process leading to the best possible training and to the creation of new lines of research.Downloads
