Webquest: a learning opportunity? A case study on writing, learning skills and integrating new technologies
Abstract
The empirical research on the implementation of the WebQuest in classroom programs is scarce, so the results of this research continue the dialogue with other pioneering work on this topic of education. The study evaluates the results achieved by traditional teaching and implementing a WebQuest in the writing process development and promotion learning skills. A series of categories and indicators to collect, analyze and interpret information on writing processes and learning strategies were established by a case study. An intervention plan was implemented according to the results from the control group in order to develop the skills to address the instructional strategy independently.
