Abstract

Social movements create their own culture, and art is one of the more sensitive manifesration of social changes. Ir> this essay. the author analyzes the relationship between the social women s move,nents and the search of new forms of expression, in science as well as in art. Twelve plas¡ic masíer pieces (paim'ings and sculptures), since Ihe Renaissanee lo nowdays, give base to a reflection on the motivations, limits and possibilities of artistic creation.
