From the object uncovered to the artistic object. An approach with educational purposes
Abstract
This paper exposes the potential of object teaching as a pedagogical resource in the field of arts education. The arguments to encourage their presence in the classrooms are multiple, and there not only theoretical approaches, since many of them are eminently practical. Presenting the object from the etymological and metaphysical point of view, it has been analyzed from different historical-artistic perspectives as well as from a didactic perspective. In this way, the object is presented as a concrete element with which to work abstract concepts in an attractive, recognizable and everyday way, coming to act as a trigger for creativity and being considered inclusive of the mind. Finally, a proposal made in the field of higher education is presented, in which the approaches shown above are applied.
