The "Motorized" (Camillo Mastrocinque, 1962): A Standard Type of Co- Production in the Spanish Cinema of the Sixties
Abstract
Continuing with a business formula stabilized during the previous decade, the sixties constitute the greatest period for co-productions in the history of Spanish cinema. Los motorizados / I motorizzati, one of the many commercial proposals made by the Spanish production company TECISA, mainly between 1962 and 1974, is a good example of this business practice that often presents great differences between the films that finally can see the spectators of one and another country. The present article carries out a study of the film that also takes into account its particular productive environment, as well as other possible contextual marks whose imprint appears in cinematographic fiction.Downloads
