Children Digital Influencers fighting COVID-19 Pandemic
Abstract
Although children were confined and their presence in the public space (schools, streets, etc.) was prevented or reduced, they were able to express themselves through digital media, social networks and the Web. This digital space is an opportunity for the development of some political activism, particularly in the context of combating the pandemic. In this activism, some children "digital influencers" stand out, with great mobilization capacity and, in some cases, with assertive political messages. This text accompanies this locus of political action of the child and recognizes the Internet, in addition to all ambiguities, as an opportunity to oppose the social invisibility of children and to affirm their role in the face of the social and political consequences of the management of the pandemic crisis.
