Temporalities on audiovisual proposals offered to early childhood in family contexts during the pandemic
Abstract
The article discusses the temporalities that are configured around audiovisual proposals offered to early childhood as a cultural practice of upbringing. We distinguish two levels of analysis: the family dynamics in relation to these proposals and the audiovisual content offered. We conducted individual and group interviews with families in the province of Córdoba in the context of the SARS-COV-2 pandemic (2020-2021). We recover contributions from sociology, psychoanalysis, psychomotricity, philosophy and discourse analysis. We were able to recognize different configurations of the experience of shared time with others, which allowed us to analyze the ways in which meanings are interwoven according to the variations in terms of the duration structures of the contents, the chronology they propose, the type of perception that prevails and the types of regulation that they enable. These findings allow us to discuss some characterizations of temporal experience in mediatized child culture, which makes visible the fabric of the hegemonic imprint.
