Open Access policy and no fees

The journal is an open access journal (diamond OA), which means that all of its contents are available free of charge for all individuals and their institutions. Users can read, download, copy, distribute, print, search and link the complete text of all articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without being required to ask for permission from their authors and editors beforehand. This definition of open access agrees with the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI). The re-utilization of works can be done in the terms listed under the license Creative Commons Reconocimiento 4.0 (CC BY 4.0).

The journal does not charge authors any fees for article processing (submission, review or editing) or publication. RIBES does not have Article Processing Charges.

RIBES has a profile in Open Policy Finder, where it can be seen that the published version of the papers has no embargo, that it is published under CC BY 4.0 license, and that it can be uploaded to any web page with a mention (e.g. reference) of the journal's papers.

The journal publishes works under the international license Creative Commons Atribución 4.0.
