Libraries as agents of dissemination and communication of science: the experience of the V BiblioMadSalud Conference on artificial intelligence in health sciences
Abstract
This article presents the experience of organizing the V BiblioMadSalud Conference, which on this occasion focused on artificial intelligence applied to health sciences, and which was held in Madrid on May 31, 2023. The aim is to share the lessons learned and inspire other libraries that want to face similar challenges. The key aspects of the design and management of the event are described, as well as the results obtained and the benefits for the libraries. The Conference allowed to disseminate and communicate science from the perspective and experience of the libraries, as well as to generate networks of collaboration and exchange with other agents of the scientific system.
