Our Legends: over twenty years of Library-School reading promotion campaigns in la Vall d’Uixó
Abstract
For more than twenty years, the Municipal Library of Vall d'Uixó (Castellón) has implemented a reading promotion project through the Library-School Campaigns, targeting all preschool and primary school students in the municipality. Since the 2019-2020 school year, in addition to promoting reading and writing, it has worked together with many different actors to rescue and make local legends known among the youngest, collaborating in the recovery of popular oral tradition in a playful manner, always focused on learning and personal growth.
