Positive and negative transferences in the acquisition of German phonetics by Spanish students
Abstract
In any language teaching field, the influence of previously learned languages can be observed, generally L1 and L2, in the case of German language learning, which in the Spanish context is usually the second foreign language, the influence observed in terms of phonetic competence is usually that of the mother tongue. This paper analyses the extent to which positive or negative transferences from L1 act on the process of learning German language phonetics.Downloads
