Influence of the academic culture in the teacher performance of novice university teachers
Abstract
This paper discusses the influence of the academic culture of origin in beliefs and teaching practice of two novice academics from different disciplines, using individual interviews. Among the conclusions reached may be mentioned: academic culture is seen as an emerging construct, explicited through a didactical vision; the influence is much less confrontational how much greater the disciplinar continuity and the integration in the departmental and symbolic-cultural structure.Downloads
