La agenda de los alumnos en clase, profesores como medios y agenda-setting
Abstract
This research measures the communication process between university professors and their students, applying mass communication theory to the university context. Agenda-setting theory was used as a conceptual framework. Under this precept, the professors’ function as a source of knowledge and orientation for their students’ agenda was analyzed. The results reveal that the professor is a fundamental channel of communication in the formative process despite the finding that many of the topics that comprise the students’ agenda don’t coincide with the relevance the professor gives to those aspects.Downloads
