Visual Studies in the Investigation of Contemporary Performing Practices
Abstract
The performing arts are a complex field of artistic, social and communicative practices. The contemporary approach of these practices overflows the disciplinary boundaries inherited from tradition, in order to experience other forms and expressive projects that offer new perspectives on teaching and research of scenic objects. The modern scenic project questioned and subjected to critical review the classical dramaturgy and his underlying communication model, oriented towards the manipulation of the spectator under the principles of mimesis, causality and identification. The contemporary scene, meanwhile, tries to confront the strategic distance on which the spectacle was organized and strategically regulated the relationship with the spectator.Downloads
