Creative Writing and Equality: Versions of Traditional Tales
Abstract
The story as an educational resource can be a very useful tool. This article proposes creative writing with traditional tales and it offers a reflection about polemic feminist approaches to this tradition, with the goal to promote equality education with popular tales. It presents a didactic proposal that begins with the research of ancient versions of two of the best-known fairy tales: Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty. The results from this research include teaching strategies that actively engage students in the learning process through 2.0 creative writing from traditional tales.Downloads
