Abstract

This arride presents sorne ways of utilization of painting as a historical docurnent for the analysis of women `s prominence in history and sorne research models of religious ami mithological iconographies to delve into women s history subjects. Painting is Me starting point rhat allows ro reveal changes aná permanences in women `sfi¿nctions in history and in women s models supported or censured by Me dominanr ideology.
