Mapping from the artistic perspective. Designing, drawing and navigating the contemporary.
Abstract
The goal of this article is to elaborate a brief “state of the question” of the contemporary cartographic art works in order to open the fi eld to students of Fine Arts and other related studies. We focus mostly on contemporary cartographic art proyects. The most of art works addressed in this article are new ways to visualize certain phenomena, or elements, like highly interesting design models of navigation and interaction with data.
