Dibutades o el arte de dibujar.
Abstract
The present essay intends to explain dic drawing as an activity diaL stands between two contraries taken from Kandisky's theories: pure realism and pure abstraction. Both contraries will be represented by two famous and classical aneedotes written by Plinio in bis Natural History, which are the contest between Zeuxis and Parrasio and the landing of Apeles in Rodas, in searcli of Protogenes. Anotber anecdote taken as weB from Plinio's writings, tbe fable of Dibutades --where is related tbe bird of drawing in Corinto-- will be considered as tbe solution between these two contraries. In any case, this solution will not be taken as a synthesis or as any kind of happy y medium, but as a paradox, a creative paradox.Downloads
