Author Biography

Rosa García, Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha

PhD in Research in Humanities, Arts, and Education (2024) from the University of Castilla-La Mancha. She is part of the editorial team of the journal Sin Objeto. Arte, investigación, políticas, coordinated by the Cabello/Carceller collective. She collaborates with the Experimental Creation Center (CDCE), directed by Javier Ariza Pomareta. In 2012, she began studies in Photography at EFTI. International Center of Photography and Cinema, Madrid. She completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts (2014-2018) and a Master’s in Research in Artistic and Visual Practices (2018-2019) at the University of Castilla-La Mancha, Cuenca. Between 2019-2025, she was a member of the VISU@LS: Visual Culture and Identity Politics Research Group, participating in R&D projects and teaching in the Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts, activities associated with her predoctoral contract at UCLM and her subsequent postdoctoral trajectory. In 2021, she undertook a research stay at the Eurasia Humanism Research Group at the University of Salamanca, and in 2025 at the Department of Fine Arts at Iceland University of the Arts, Reykjavik. She is the founder of the editorial project VV.AA, coordinated together with Adrián Porcel.
