El nuevo hombre orquesta: el director de cortometrajes y novel en España
Abstract
The image of Spanish director able to direct, write, produce and even act or compose music has been criticize for ages. Although few of them have some of the best films in the latest years, the majority have minor full-length films o feature films without great interest. Film critic presents this attitude as one of the major errors and obstacles of our industry since it implies the disappearance of scriptwriters, not author directors and most of the production. In this article, we will try to prove that these orchestra men, instead of being responsible for Spanish cinema ´s crisis, they are a result of it. They are also a consequence of wrong approaches taken in author cinema and frequent in the present Spanish mentality and society.Downloads
