Uncertainties of the Fiction: Identity and Suspense in “Lost”

Abstract

This article exposes the qualities of the famous television series “Lost” from the perspectiveof analysis of postmodern thought. From study of the identity of the character keys is set aspeech of suspense connected with the space where they live. Different theories coveredin philosophy may be related to the construction of several stories that occur in fiction. Theuse of these models of thought supposes an instrument of interest as the object of analysisin which investigate issues related to the ambiguity, conspiracy, concealment orexistentialism. These parameters represent the constitution of fundamental elements in thenarrative construction of contemporary audiovisual fiction.
