Listenin to children em elementar school: the methodological path
Abstract
A dialogue is undertaken with researchers who discuss the specificity of childhood (SARMENTO 2005, 2011; CORSARO, 2009) supporting the defense of listening to children in the early years of elementary school. Photography is considerad here as a methodological tool capable of inviting children to elaborate, investigate and créate represantations about their school experiences (GOBBI, 2011). This study resulted in the understanding of possible meanings attributed by children to school experiences, as well as in the indetification of the times and spaces created by them t olive their childhoods at school.
