Abstract
Under a social sustainability approach, and through the description of a practical experience, the need for a personalized and flexible educational approach is evident, one that adapts to the individual circumstances of each young child in hospital settings. The article analyzes the importance of hospital education as an environment to guarantee the rights and health of children, especially those with special educational needs. It highlights how hospital classrooms promote social inclusion, equal opportunities, and the holistic well-being of children during their hospitalization, enabling them to maintain educational continuity and avoid falling behind
