Abstract
This article analyzes of Home Economics textbooks published in Spain since the late nineteenth century until the first half of the twentieth century. The subject of the study is to examine the influence of these books in the construction of a false identity by educating women and teenager girls as housewives, wives and mothers. Equally, we try awareness of the importance of Home Economics textbooks in the construction of the idea of women's work in the home as "unproductive".Downloads
