Abstract
This article pretends an approachment to the institution that since the beggining of the 19th century served for the general study and traininig of two of the most important groups of disabled people in Spain. Despite other particular initiatives, the National School received all those who wished and were able to go among the spanish territory until the further appearence of the first law, Claudio Moyano´s, that determine the creation of special schools.Downloads
