School mediation in institutional plans and programmes of school coexistence in Spain
Abstract
The first school mediation experiences in Spain are of the middle of the nineties. País Vasco, Cataluña and Madrid were the first autonomous regions in introducing school mediation programmes and since then, school mediation is extending for all national territory. At the same time, the great majority of autonomous regions developed, during the first decade of 2000, theirs school coexistence regulations and theirs school coexistence plans and programmes. Simultaneously, some autonomous regions signed social pacts in favour of a peace culture in educational centers of its own territories. Along these lines, the main aim of this article is to make a comparative study to know which autonomous regions defend school mediation and include it in their own pacts, plans and programmes.Downloads
