Enseñanza de inglés como lengua extranjera: manuales desde la perspectiva del enfoque cognitivo
Abstract
The amount and quality of publications about a topic can be seen as a sign of its importance. This paper shows some updated publications focused on a cognitive approach in order to help students in their second language acquisition. First, we will briefly describe the major cognitive factors that underlie the more recently published language teaching methods. Second, we will briefly comment on these books analysing the most relevant theoretical aspect taken into consideration by the authors from the cognitive linguistics point of view. Finally, we will finish up with some thoughts about the use of these methods in an English class for Specific and Academic purposes.Downloads
