Reformulative relations of explanation and correction in digital discourse
Abstract
The aims of this research are to characterize the relations of explanation and correction within the category of reformulation and to determine how these types of relations are manifested in digital texts, specifically in blogs, which show special interest since they are hybrid texts that are transmitted through a written channel but reflect, in many cases, features of conceptional orality. Our analysis will allow us to expose how these discursive relations are configured in the construction of this type of discourse, establish the procedures through which they are expressed, determine which specific discourse markers are used and delimit the function that these linguistic signs develop in this discursive modality. The empirical basis of this research is the digital blogs included in Corpes XXI and the MEsA corpus in their different thematic, situational and geolectal varieties.
