El uso de estrategias comunicativas entre hablantes avanzados de español
Abstract
This article presents the results of a study of the use of communication strategies among advanced-level students of Spanish. The speakers are classified in three groups based on their learning context: the classroom, immersion in a Spanish-speaking country, or their family. The study looks at the use of strategies classified attending to their origin (first or second language), the kind of interaction with the interlocutor (interactional or direct), and the underlying cognitive process involved (analytical or control.)
