Los posesivos en la historia del español: Estimaciones críticas
Abstract
We offer the reader a state of the question on possessives in the history of Spanish, dealing with the possible absence of forms originating in the “contracted” late Latin forms, the evolution of possessives of the three persons, the origin of stressed possessives (tuyo, suyo), the evolution of the three person possessive forms, the use of possessives with the article, etc. Many of the questions raised do not have yet satisfactory answers.
