Abstract
The book El discurso en su contexto de realización. Lingüística pragmática, argumentación y cortesía [Discourse in its realisation context. Pragmatic linguistics, argumentation and politeness] is analysed in this review. Written by Dr. Catalina Fuentes Rodríguez and published at the University of Seville, this book compiles some of the most important papers of the author throughout her career. They are organised in four of the researcher’s fields of expertise: “utterance and discourse syntax”, “argumentation and discourse”, “verbal politeness” and “social face and identity”.
