The Spanish lexicon of Florentine cultural heritage in blogs and online travel articles
Abstract
In the framework of the project Lessico dei beni culturali, the aim of this study is to analyse the Spanish lexicon of Florence cultural heritage in two genres of tourist discourse on the Web: travel blogs and travel reports published in online reviews. A corpus-driven research has been carried out in order to identify which nouns related to the florentine heritage prevail within each genre and to see whether these genres diverge in the use of certain heritage words regarding the touristic promotion of the city.
