Functional structure beyond the sentence
Abstract
This paper intends to contribute to the study of some discourse aspects: the relationship between discourse particles and the functional structure of the left periphery. The main objective is to show that there are discourse particles that exhibit a range of syntactic properties related to their functional structure. Following previous papers: Speas y Tenny (2003) and Wiltschko y Heim (2014, 2016), I will explore the links between the interpretation and order of vamos, ya (ya) and que, and the functional structure.Downloads
