Lovers’ discourse and identity in audiovisual fiction: the case of LEX
Abstract
The article analyses the complete scripts of the LEX tv series, which was aired in 2008 on the Spanish TV station Antena 3. The corpus of fiction is explored through the AntConc 3.5.0 and Lingmotif 1.0 software tools, with a focus on the relationship between lovers’ discourse and the construction of identity, combining Charaudeau’s (2011), Maingueneau’s (online) and Amossy’s (2010) studies with Giddens’ (1998 [1992]) sociological perspective.Downloads
