Of ruins and other atavistic searchs
Abstract
The author thinks about the emotion raised by the contemplation of architectural ruins as scenarios of atavistic searches, following several comtemporary artistical processes linked to certain historical movements. He considers the experience of ruins on a vivential play basis and the actions and roles of participation that can be implied in it. He understands the matter as an individual adventure and he relates it to the travels of the romantic CXIX explorers, kept on a notebook through handwriting, images and written stories.Downloads
