Kunstcoop: experiences of art mediation in Germany
Abstract
This article analyses the term art mediation taking as example the educational practices of the German group Kunstcoop. In order to understand these experiences this text describes the process of construction and the institutional frame of the group, as well as it s educational politics, under the perspective of critical pedagogy , and its in-between development as interdiscursive practice. The collaborative work of the group is exemplified from its projects as deconstructive processes in art education that informs a action framework in gallery and museum education.
