History of the journal

The birth of this journal is due, in large part, to a combination of latent concerns among scholars of childhood and adolescence in Spain, Portugal and the countries of Latin America that share the respective languages. Through contacts with each other, it had become clear, on successive occasions, that we felt the need to have a space where we could share our intuitions and our findings in the field of scientific knowledge that focuses on the lives, life circumstances, events and actions that affect, and of which the children and adolescents of our respective countries are the protagonists.
