Revisión ciega
To ensure the integrity of the blind review of submissions made by experts for this journal, it is necessary to make an effort to avoid the identity of the authors and reviewers being known to each other. This involves authors, editors, and reviewers (who upload documents as part of their review) checking that the following steps have been taken for the text and the file properties:
-
The authors of the document have removed their names from the text, using "Author" and year in the references and footnotes instead of the author's name, the title of the article, etc.
-
For Microsoft Office documents, the author's identity must also be removed from the file properties (see under File in Word), by clicking on the following, starting with File in the main menu of the Microsoft application: File > Save As > Tools (or Options on a Mac) > Security > Remove personal information from the properties of the file upon saving > Save.
-
For PDFs, the author's name must also be removed from the Document Properties found under File in the main menu of Adobe Acrobat.
