Abstract
From the Editorial Board of the Revista de Investigación sobre Bibliotecas, Educación y Sociedad (Journal of Research on Libraries, Education, and Society) we are pleased to present the first volume and issue of the journal. This editorial provides an overview of the journals’ launch, sharing some thoughts about the formats of the publications and acknowledging the contributions of the reviewers who have collaborated with us. We also summarize the key themes of the published works including research papers, experiences, book reviews and editorials. Finally, we outline the communication plan designed to promote RIBES, which includes the creation of profiles on social media platforms such as BlueSky, X, Linkedin and Mastodon.
